I personally absolutely adore how it turned out. I'm so excited to get the print copies in my hand so I can touch it, drool over it, and love it all up. =) Only three more weeks until release day. It's coming fast!

It's adorable, Danyelle! I love when back covers have a cutout like that (both of mine do too). It's sad that many people never see it because they order the ebook. Which makes me wonder--should we have the "back cover" as a jpg at the end of the book? (Probably not, since they will have read it already by that point.) OR, as I've just begun adding a summary to the interior of my files right after the front cover (because I have a bizillion ebooks and can never remember what the book is about), maybe it could be added there? We could start a new trend. Anyway, super cute! Congrats! I'm looking forward to reading it.

Lisa - I did the cover. It was quite a learning curve, but I survived. =)
Maria - I love the idea of adding the book blurb at the beginning. I've seen other ebooks do that and have appreciated it. But what a fun idea to add the back cover image. I wonder if the text would be big enough to be read on a tablet? I think a lot of the 'cute' impact would be lost on a B&W screen though.
Thank you, Stephanie and Christine! - Mar 14, 2014, 3:38:00 PM

Love! Are you going to blog about your learning curve at some point? Or did you do that already and I missed it?

Valerie - I haven't done that yet. What a great idea for a blog post. Thanks! =)

The back looks good enough to eat!
Love the red hair and 'leg lift'.
And you even matched the color to your profile pic shirt. Must be a favorite color. Looks great!

Beautiful cover. I love the colors and the yummy macarons (my favorite cookie but oh so hard to make!) on the back.

Renae - The color ended up being accidental. I wasn't trying to match the sweater in my profile picture. Honest. =)
Canda - So glad you love it, and even recognized the cookies. Aren't they pretty??? - Mar 15, 2014, 10:18:00 AM
